Pakistan Army launched its offensive against Pro-Taliban militants targeting their hideouts in the troubled North Waziristan tribal areas. The operation that started on December 18th targeted Pro-Taliban militant hideouts in Mir Ali, resulting in death of at least 70 people. The tribal locals say, all killed, were civilians.
