Syeda Ruqayya was the young daughter of Imam Husayn... also known as Sakina but in the Arab world she is known as Ruqayya... she was the one who would give peace to the heart of Imam Husayn and after the martyrdom of her father she was terribly tortured. She was slapped. She had her Earrings snatched off her that her earloves were ripped. She saw the body of her father soaked in blood and arrows all over it. She had her tents burnt and some of her clothes too. She was paraded... a young girl who is known to be only 4 years old.. other traditions differ however she had a rope tied around her neck.
